Elwood Leroy Shaffer

Elwood Leroy Shaffer, 84, of Crittenden, KY., passed away on Friday, May 1 at the Walter's Nursing Home in Williamstown, KY. He was born December 15, 1924 in Port Treverton, PA. to the late Roy Alvin Shaffer and Elsie Wilt Shaffer. He was a retired railroad car inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail. He was active in the Williamstown Senior Citizens Center and he was a member of the Masons. He was preceded in death by his wife: Alice Shaffer in 2004. He is survived by a son: Tim Shaffer of Crittenden, KY. and by a daughter: Joan Neidig of Port Royal, PA. Also survived by a brother: Roy Shaffer of Herndon, PA. He has 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great, Great Grandchild.
