Chester Dixon

February 24, 1923 - March 10, 2009

Chester Dixon, 86, of Sadieville, KY. died Tuesday morning at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY. He was born Feb. 24, 1923 in Harrison County, KY. to the late J. D. Dixon and Mane Cason Dixon. He retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation and he was a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church in Harrison County. He was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth Frances Dixon in 1992. He is survived by a son: Lane Dixon of Sadieville, KY. 3 Daughters: Beverly Jo Wade of Harrison County, KY., Rebecca Jean Bernard of Lexington, KY., and Judy Carol Hilliard of Elizabethtown, KY. Also survived by 2 brothers: Donald Dixon of Mt. Gilead, OH. and Ralph Thomas Dixon of Orlando, Fl. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
