Mr. Griffith was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Marie Griffith in 1994 and by two daughters, Phyllis Marie Angel Griffith and Anita Ann Griffith, both in 1991.
