Arlene O'Neil Griffin

Arlene O’Neil Griffin of Dry Ridge, KY was born June 16, 1948 in Williamstown, KY and died Friday, October 9, 2026 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 78.

She was the daughter of the late Wilmore and Virginia Eloise Souder O’Neil. She was a homemaker, a former hairdresser, and former factory worker. Arlene a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church where she was active in helping with vacation bible school and cooking for bereavement meals. On January 13, 1968 she was united in marriage to her husband Carl Thorton Griffin.

In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her 3 sisters, 1 brother, and 2 grandchildren, Domnique and Aaron Huebner.

Surviving is her husband, Carl Thorton Griffin of Dry Ridge; daughters, Robin (Mitchell) Bowen and Tammy (Jason) Nantz both of Dry Ridge; 6 grandchildren, Nicole, Lauren, Caitlyn, Coleman, Arika, and Gracee; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11:00am-12:00pm Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the Dry Ridge Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 12:00pm at the church followed by burial in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North.
