Aubrey Riddell Hutton

Aubrey Riddell Hutton, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the age of 92.  She was the widow of the late Earl William Hutton.  

Aubrey was born on February 9, 1933 to the late Joe Riddell and Etta Fleety Crouch Riddell.  She was a homemaker and farmer most of her life.  She and her husband Earl raised cattle, hogs, chickens and grew tobacco.  She loved sewing, making quilts, fishing, camping, gardening and cooking.  She was well known for her red velvet cakes and her bread pudding.   She was very proud that at age 85 she was still horseback riding.  Aubrey was a lifelong member of the Vine Run Baptist Church.

Aubrey is survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Etta Mae Withrow (Dennis), three brothers, Ernest, Emmitt and Floyd Riddell and three sisters, Elsie Readnower, Bertha Hudson, Aline Wilson.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10am-12noon at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Saturday. Brother David Foley and Bro. Mike Smith will be officiating services.  Burial will follow in the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.
