Betty Lou Romans

Betty Lou Clifton Romans, formerly of Georgetown, was born July 1, 1932 in Owen Co., Kentucky and passed away December 18, 2018 in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 86.  She was the daughter of the late Ora and Lucy Bell Miles Clifton.

On March 25, 1949, Betty was united in marriage to William Thomas Romans, Jr. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1994. In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by a daughter: Teresa Lou Mulberry.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Wanda Charlene (Steve) Thomas of Glencoe and Rita (Charles) Henry of Corinth; a son-in-law: Robert Mulberry of Sadieville; 5 grandchildren: Dwight Thomas Rider, Pamela Kay Sciarra, Matthew Rider, Bryan Henry and Josh Alexandra; and nine great grandchildren.

Betty was a member of the Masonic Home of Kentucky in Shelbyville and the Order of the Eastern Star in Georgetown.  She was a retired bookkeeper for Friend Ford Tractor in Georgetown.  She enjoyed spending her time quilting, sewing and gardening.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth. Visitation will be 10 AM - 1 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be 3:30 PM, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the Owenton Cemetery.
