Billy Ray Claypool of Crittenden, KY was born February 22, 1955 in Williamstown, KY and died Saturday, January 14, 2026 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 70.

He was the son of the late William Thomas and Anna Louise Thomas Claypool, and a stone mason.

Surviving is one daughter, Lacey Rider of Florence, KY; two grandchildren; and three sisters, Joyce Faye Hensley of Williamstown, Ruby Lee Shelton of Williamstown, and Garnetta Brooks of Crittenden.

Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral, Williamstown, KY. Funeral services will also be Monday at 1:00pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
