Bobby Wayne Sargent

Bobby Wayne Sargent, 75, of Dry Ridge, KY passed away Thursday June 23, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center E.R. - Grant.  Born Sunday November 10, 1946 in Dry Ridge, he was the son of the late John and Pauline Conley Sargent.

Bobby was a lifetime farmer; he particularly loved raising his many crops of tobacco on the farm.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he was an honorary member of the local VFW Legion Hall and attended Williamstown Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving and caring daughter: Paula (Salvador) Tavera of Dry Ridge; one sister: Norma Kinsey of Dry Ridge and a brother: Jerry Sargent of Tucson, Arizona; many cousins’ nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Maxine Davis and three brothers: Marvin Sargent, Donald Gene Sargent and Charles Sargent

Visitation will be Thursday June 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown location).  Funeral service will begin at 1:00. Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowe rs, memorial contributions may be made in Bobby’s memory to the charity of ones' choice.
