Brenda Sue Blevins

Brenda Sue Blevins, 76, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on Wednesday December 10, 2025 at Grant Nursing and Rehab. Born on April 27, 1949 in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Essie and Mayme Aileen McClure.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Blevins. She committed her life to being a faithful and dedicated housewife and homemaker. Even with her disability, she gained much satisfaction with her love for cooking, taking care of the house, tending to her flowers and maintaining the yard. Being able to stay busy was her primary goal.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Smith. She leaves to celebrate her memory, one son, Richard Blevins of Cincinnati, OH; one sister, Shirley Stigers of Frankfort, KY. Also surviving are two grandsons: Nicholas (Emily) Blevins of Dry Ridge and Kyle Blevins of Nicholasville and six great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
