Camille Love McClanahan, 40, of Williamstown, KY, passed away tragically on February, 1, 2026. Born on June 30th, 1985. She was the daughter of Linda Jean Brinegar-Donato of Manchester, KY and Gary Wayne “Pup” Woods of Maynardville, TN.
On September 19, 2009 she was united in marriage to Joey Anthony McClanahan. Camille worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Grant Co. Board of Education. Previously, she served as the Editorial Assistant for the Grant County News. She also trained as a EMT in Williamstown. She was a gifted photographer and served as a DJ for the Party Barn and will long be remembered for being a social butterfly. Organizing kid’s games at Halloween Parties every year brought her much delight. In the midst of this enormous loss, the force of Camille’s charming personality continues to give strength and courage in this time of despair.
Camille leaves behind a space that no one else can fill. She is survived by her husband, Joey McClanahan of Williamstown, KY; her mother, Linda Jean Brinegar-Donato of Manchester, KY; her father Gary Wayne Woods of Maynardville, TN two daughters: Cadence (Sean) Faith Ann McClanahan-Exon of Nashville, TN, Deanna Michele McClanahan of Cynthiana, KY; two brothers: Austin Keith Evergreen of Colorado Springs, CO, Patrick Thomas Carter of Manchester, KY; one sister, Tabatha Jean Thomas and Tabatha’s two daughters: Dixie and Destini of Knoxville, TN and an adorable grandson, Joseph Ryder Wesley Exon of Nashville, whom Camille lovingly called “Peanut”. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Betti Jo McClanahan (late James), paternal grandmother Mary Ann Woods Mincey of Maynardville, TN; sister-in-law, Chasity (Sean) Souder and a close nephew, Jaden Souder; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Dustin Ryan Woods; father-in-law, James “Jim”McClanahan, who affectionately called her “Lovey Dove”, maternal grandparents: Bonnie Jean Seymour, Darrell Wayne Seymour; paternal grandfather, Ronald J. Woods.
Visitation will be Tuesday February 10, 2026 from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will be Wednesday February 11, 2026 at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
