Candido D. Brionez, Jr.

Candido D. Brionez, Jr. was born June 25, 1942 in Beeville, Texas and passed away December 9, 2025 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 83.  He was the son of the late Agapita Dominguez and Candido Brionez, Sr.

Candido graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Adult Vocation and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.  He then went on to work for and retire from Uniroyal Tires in Opelika, Alabama.  He was an active member of the Crittenden Baptist Church as well as a former member of Local 753 URW and the International Machinist Association.

On March 12, 1967 Candido was united in marriage to Theone Vaughn Brionez.  In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by a son: Eric (Kristyn) Brionez of Dry Ridge; a sister: Helen Hale of Pasadena, TX; two grandchildren: Thomas Brionez and Tanner Brionez; and a niece: Holly Hale-Ahmadi. 

Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Crittenden Baptist Church, 215 Russell Dr., Crittenden, KY  41030.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Crittenden Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
