Carol Jane Herzog

Mrs. Carol Jane Nix Herzog of Cincinnati, OH. and formerly of Williamstown, KY. passed away Thursday, February 6 at the Carecore of Montgomery Health Care Center at the age of 93.  Mrs. Herzog was born January 29, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH. to the late Harry J. Nix and Emma Rohe Nix.  Mrs. Herzog was a retired bookkeeper for KY. Chemical Industries and she was a graduate of Woodward High School.  On August 6, 1948 she was united in marriage to Gilbert Donald Herzog and Mr. Herzog passed away July 11, 2001.  At the time of her passing Mrs. Herzog remained a member of St. William Catholic Church in Williamstown, KY. and had formerly been active with St. Vincent DePaul.

Mrs. Herzog is survived by a son: David J. Herzog and his wife Natalla of Wilmington, Delaware, 2 daughters: Diane Garnett of Golf Manor, Ohio and Paula Knecht of Charleston, South Carolina.  She also has 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 11 at St. William Catholic Church, 6 Church Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 with Rev. Damien Hils officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the St. William Catholic Church.
