Carol Anne Price

Carol Anne Whitton Price was born December 26, 1941 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky and passed away August 9, 2026 at the age of 84 with her husband by her side. Carol was the daughter of the late Harmon J. and Nina Pearl Neal Whitton.

She was never afraid of hard work and held a few different jobs throughout her career. She retired from Kroger as a manager in Murfreesboro, TN. She also worked as a secretary for Proctor & Gamble and was a realtor. After retiring from Kroger she went on to work in HR at the Grant County Board of Education. Carol was a 1959 graduate of Grant County High School where she was highly involved in activities such as Varsity Cheerleading, class treasurer and vice president, and a member of Glee Club and Pep Club as well as others. This was just the beginning of how dedicated she was to serving her community.

On January 31, 1960, Carol was united in marriage to the love of her life, Rex Frederick Price. In addition to her loving and devoted husband of 66 years she leaves her daughter, Sonya Price Lambert and her husband Dominic F., and three grandchildren, Matthew, Dominic and Nolan. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Whitton, and a sister, Eloise Switzer.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
