Carolyn June Jackson

Carolyn June Spencer Jackson was born April 26, 1951 in Lee Co., Kentucky and passed away January 20, 2020 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 68. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Orpha Spillman Spencer.

In 1972 Carolyn was united in marriage to Elbert Dewayne Jackson who preceded her in death.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Flora Grubb, Mary Brown, Ica Campbell, Viola Roach and Betty Gentry.

She is survived by 2 sons: Bryan Scott Jackson of Villa Hills and Matthew Dewayne Jackson of Florence; a daughter: Misty Gayle Farrell (Stephen) of Florence; 2 brothers: Gene Spencer of Ft. Mitchell and Ray Spencer of Florence; 2 sisters: Mae Horn of Union and Connie Branscum of Florence; and 2 grandchildren: Caitlyn June Scalf and Caleb Dewayne Jackson Scalf.

Carolyn retired as a secretary for the Internal Revenue Service.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
