Catherine Kelley

Catherine Kelley of Dry Ridge, KY was born May 6, 1951, in Portsmouth, OH and died Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her residence at the age of 74 years.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie Bryant and Ethel Irene Spriggs Gifford. She was a homemaker and a former housekeeping employee with the Golden Years Nursing Home in Portsmouth, OH, and a member of the Sherman Church of Christ. On July 31, 1969 she was united in marriage to her husband, Paul James Kelley who preceded her in death  on September 2, 2004.

Surviving are five daughters, Angie Ruggles, Ethel Dunn, and Jane Lovins of Portsmouth, OH, Michelle Lovins of South Shore, KY, and Marsha Combs of Grant County, KY; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Perry Gifford of Portsmouth, OH; and one sister, Charlotte Clay of West Portsmouth, OH.
