Charles "Chuck" Edward Perkins

Charles "Chuck" Edward Perkins, 54, Williamstown, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at his residence. Born on August 12, 1972, at Grant County Hospital in Williamstown, he was the son of Gobel Edward and Ruth Ann Draper Perkins.

Chuck was a mechanic by trade, but because he was skilled in so many areas, he was lovingly referred to as a “jack of all trades”. Because of his indefatigable love for music, he loved singing and playing the guitar, but he will unmistakably be best remembered for his ability to make people laugh, being a natural prankster, a true daredevil and being an avid dog lover. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed kayaking, camping, deer hunting and his daily intake of Mountain Dews. As a young man, he made a profession of faith and was baptized at Williamstown Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents: Gobel and Ruth Ann Perkins of Williamstown, those left to carry on Chuck’s legacy include his two daughters: Cheyenne Perkins of Williamstown, Caitlynn (Andrew) Thomas of Cynthiana; two sons: Tyler (Rochelle) Craycraft of Cynthiana, Jesse (Bethanie) Perkins of Williamstown; two sisters: Rebecca (Keith) Henry of Falmouth and Tammy (Tony) Varner of Williamstown, along with his four grandchildren: Jacob Thomas, Bentlee Brown, Charleston Craycraft and Gracelynn Craycraft, all of whom lovingly called him “Papa Chuck”. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Rebecca Perkins.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Howard Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in the New Vine Run Cemetery.
