Charles “Charlie” Eugene Perry, 87, of Burlington, KY, entered his heavenly home on Monday July 14, 2025 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood. Born on August 8, 1937, in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Alfred Fred and Lucille Marie Collum Perry. Having become a master stone mason, he took over his father’s business, A.F. Perry Construction Company; he became the owner/operator until his retirement.
On June 11, 1975, he was united in marriage to the former Barbara Faye Isaacs; she survives. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. In 1986 he was saved; his relationship with the Lord began a long lasting and faithful commitment to the Lord’s work. Besides his love for the Lord, nothing was more important to him than spending quality time with his family. Fishing, hunting (especially bear hunting) traveling cross country on family vacations brought him much enjoyment. Meeting up with his ole “Army Buddies” routinely and attending worship services at other churches became very satisfying to him. He was a member of Boone United Masonic Lodge #265 in Union and a staunch supporter of his church, Beechgrove Holiness Church in Burlington.
Charlie leaves to carry forward his legacy of love and faithfulness, his wife of 60 years, Barbara Faye Perry; his two daughters: Phyllis Lynn (Keith) Perkinson, Sandra Faye (Kenny) Allphin, both of Dry Ridge; his siblings: Jimmy, Robert Lee, Melvin, Barbara and Karen: five grandchildren: J.J., Zachary, Austin (Anah), Amber (Cliff) Brandon and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Charles “Bud” Allphin; a great-grandson, Jordyn and his siblings: Edwin, Pete, Bud, Alfred Jr., Ervin, Earl, Millie, Edna, Alice Ruth and Melanie Sue.
