Cheryl Joyce Riley

Cheryl Joyce Riley, 60, of Covington, KY, passed away Wednesday April 7, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood.  Born Thursday November 17, 1960 in Wilmington, OH, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Billie Joyce Gooch Riley.

Cheryl served as a manager for Shire Pharmaceuticals in Newport. The legacy she leaves will cause her to be remembered as fun loving, a kind, selfless individual, always giving of herself to make life better for others and consistently taking time to make everyone feel special.  Her legacy will further be carried out as an individual that never complained, always being grateful and having a contagious, hearty laugh. Through all of life’s struggles she proved to be one of the strongest people you would ever meet in life.  At an early age she joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Grant County.

She leaves to morn her passing and celebrate her life, two brothers: Bryan Keith (Ruth Ann) Riley of Crittenden, KY, Anthony Allan Riley of Cincinnati, OH, one sister: Christina Diane Webster of Santee, S.C.; a cousin whom also served as her caretaker: Brendan Shoemake of South Carolina and a very special friend: Angela (Jeff) Calhoun of Independence, KY.

No services are being planned at this time.

Stanley Funeral Homes have been entrusted to handle the arrangements for Ms. Riley.
