Christopher Thomas Lawson

December 28, 1974 — May 7, 2026

Dry Ridge

Christopher Thomas “Tommy” Lawson, 51, entered his eternal home on Thursday May 7, 2026 at his residence after a courageous battle with thyroid cancer. Born on December 28, 1974 in Covington, KY, he was the son of Bill J. and Barbara J. Webster Conrad.

On December 27, 1999, Tommy was united in marriage to the former Melyni Ann Iseral; she survives. In 1993, he graduated from Grant County High School. Afterwards, he made a career out of the HVAC industry; he became the owner and operator of Lawson Mechanical. Because he had a “heart of gold”, Tommy will long be remembered for his loving and giving spirit, always helping others regardless of need or situation. Being recognized for his many selfless actions, everyone who knew him knew, “If anyone was in need, Tommy was always there.” Because of his love for the Lord, evident in his daily interactions with people, he endeared himself to everyone who knew him. Attending Christian concerts, fishing, and spending time with friends and family brought him much fulfillment. He actively participated in the ministries of his church, Sherman Church of Christ. During his illness, because he was strong in his faith, he continuously admonished his family, “Don’t cry for me. The Lord’s got this.”

Tommy’s legacy will be carried on by his wife of 27 years, Melyni Lawson; his parents: Bill and Barbara Conrad; two sons: Hayden (Amber) Lawson, Kiptyn Lawson; one daughter, Ellyanna Lawson, all of Dry Ridge; his father-in-law & mother-n-law: Allen & Pam Iseral of Dry Ridge; brother-in-law, Jarret Iseral, along with a host of extended family and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by a sister, Brandy Conrad.

Friends and family may gather for a Celebration of Tommy’s life from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Saturday May 16, 2026 at Sherman Church of Christ.
