Cleo Rose Sublett

Cleo Rose Messmer Sublett , 86, of Warsaw, KY, passed away Tuesday February 18, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. Born Aril 28, 1933 in Grant Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Kash and Julie Ann Kimberlin Martin.

On March 23, 1989, she was united in marriage to Brian Sublett; he survives. She worked as a desk clerk for Western-Southern Insurance in Cincinnati for many years and was a faithful and committed mother, wife and homemaker. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Verona.

Cleo leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 31, years, Brian Sublett; one daughter: Melissa (late Michael) Ireland of Union, KY; one son: Robert (Brenda) Messmer of Crittenden, KY; two grandchildren: Megan (Lee) Freyer of Harlan, KY, Cody (Sarah) Messmer of Lexington, KY and four great-grandchildren: Elijah Kash Freyer, Everly Grace Freyer, Cathryn Rose Messmer and Ethan Goodwin. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Glenn Martin and A.J. Martin.

Visitation will be Saturday February 22, 2020 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona beginning at 12 Noon and going until the time of the funeral at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
