Clyde Ray Gordon, Jr.

Clyde Ray Gordon, Jr , 44, of Owenton, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 31, 2023 at Chandler University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.   Born on August 17,1979 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Clyde Ray and Linda Jane Cox Gordon, Sr.

On December 12, 2019 Clyde, lovingly referred to as “Little Clyde” was married to the former Lisa Gaye Denham; she survives. He was a Door Installer, working for his father, the owner of GC Installation in Owenton. Working on old cars, hunting deer, fishing and all outdoor adventures were among his greatest hobbies.  His job opened up a lot of opportunities for travel. He, along with his wife, Lisa, loved making a vacation from his out-of-state work sight experiences.  Those opportunities opened up many first-time adventures, such as, swimming in the ocean and excursions in and around Gatlinburg.

In addition to his wife, Lisa, he leaves to celebrate his memory, his parents: Clyde Ray and Linda Jane Gordon, Sr. of Owenton, two sons: Chase Ray Gordon of Fort Thomas, Colton Reed Gordon of Fort Thomas; one daughter: Hannah Lucille Gordon of Peebles, OH; one brother: Charles Ray (Halena) Gordon of Owenton; one half-brother: Scotty Ray Cox of Independence and one sister: Brandy Rae Gordon of Berry. Also surviving is one grandchild: Edith Lucille and his nieces and nephews: Brooke, Sonny, Regina, Benny, Mabel, Kendall Rae and one great-nephew: Roy, along with a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday January 5, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown.  Funeral services will begin at 7:00 with Rev. Gayliss Gaines officiating.
