Daisy Katherine Mulberry

Mrs. Daisy Katherine Mulberry of Corinth, KY. passed away August 10, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Mrs. Mulberry was born October 15, 1926 in Owen County, KY. to the late Benjamin Claiborne Beckham and Lorena Wright Beckham.  Mrs. Mulberry was the owner and operator of Daisy's Beauty Shop in Corinth, KY.  She was proud of the fact that she was the oldest, working licensed beautician in the state of Kentucky and that as recent as this past December was still working in her shop.  She was a long time member of the Corinth Christian Church and served as the church organist for many years as well as singing in the choir.  Mrs. Mulberry was frequently called upon to play and sing on funerals in the Corinth area and for years she was the hairdresser for the Rogers Funeral Home, and later the McDaniel Funeral Home.  Mrs. Mulberry was active with the Corinth Lady Lions and later the Corinth Lions Club after those clubs merged.  Mrs. Mulberry was very family oriented and had many gatherings with her family through the years.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Mulberry was proceeded in death by a son: Marshall Mulberry, by husbands: Glenn Mulberry, Ralph Blakey, and Earl Parsons.

Mrs. Mulberry is survived by a son: Greg C. Mulberry and his wife Katrina of Corinth, KY., a daughter: Mona Mulberry Husband of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., a brother: Richard Beckham and his wife Fay of Corinth, KY., 4 grandchildren: Kristian Howe and her husband Matt of Anderson Township, OH., Mikeal Mulberry and his wife Rose of Williamstown, KY., Jackson Husband and Logan Husband both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., 6 great grandchildren: Annabell Howe, Oliver Howe, Benjamin Howe, Eleanor Howe, Charley Rose Mulberry and Penny Lynn Mulberry.  She is also survived by several step children.

Graveside services and burial for Mrs. Daisy Katherine Mulberry will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, August 21 at the Corinth Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  If memorial contributions are desired they may be directed to the Corinth Christian Church. The McDaniel Funeral Home of Corinth, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Mulberry.
