Dale Hume Williams of Verona, Kentucky

February 8, 1947 - May 14, 2019

Dale Hume Williams , 72, a Verona resident, died Tuesday May 14, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Florence, KY. Born February 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Remley & Lucinda Sutton Williams.

On October 5, 1968 he was united in marriage to the former Jeannie Marcella Shearer; she survives. He retired as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed farming on his Verona farm. He loved taking boating excursions on the Cumberland Lake with family and friends. He had a special love for dogs but his greatest enjoyment came from being a “U. K. Fanatic”.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, Jeannie, he is survived by one son, Mark Williams and his wife, Lisa of Florence, KY; one sister, Janet Peace of Covington, KY along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday May 18, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona and going until the time of the funeral at 1:00 with Rev. John Rodgers officiating. Entombment will follow in Forrest Lawn Memorial Park in Florence
