With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Lee Caudill, a cherished member of the Williamstown, Kentucky community. David departed this world peacefully in his sleep on June 22, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication.
Born on September 17, 1961, in the vibrant town of Covington, David was the beloved son of the late Glenn Caudill, Sr. and JoAnn Williams. David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ben and Nannie Caudill, maternal grandparents, David and Aileen Bevis, his parents, stepfather, Bob Williams and siblings, Matthew Williams, Glenn Caudill, Jr., and Marlene Caudill.
David's heart found its greatest joy in his children, Austin Caudill, Joseph Caudill, and Aryel (Zach) Trenkamp. They were the pride and joy of his life, and his love for them knew no bounds. David's legacy is also carried forward by his siblings: Mike (Julie) Caudill, Charlie (Sarah) Williams, Glenna Caudill (Day), Benjeana Caudill (Prinzo), and Janine Caudill (Gamble). He was also cherished by his Aunt and Uncle, Gene and Edna Caudill, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who enriched his life and will continue to honor his memory.
For over two decades, David dedicated himself to his career at Dana Inc. in Dry Ridge, KY. Known for his hard work, kindness, and camaraderie, he formed bonds that extended beyond the workplace, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to work alongside him.
Beyond his professional life, David was a man of diverse interests and passions. He found immense joy in watching Notre Dame football, IU basketball, and NASCAR, often sharing these moments with family and friends, weaving a tapestry of shared experiences and cherished memories. His love for the Three Stooges and slapstick humor was infectious, bringing laughter and light-heartedness to all who knew him.
As we gather to mourn David's loss, we also come together to celebrate a life well-lived—one that touched many with kindness, humor, and generosity.
