David E. Cottongim

David E. Cottongim was born Aug. 27, 1969 in Cincinnati, OH and passed away July 17, 2022 in Johnson City, Tennessee at the age of 52.  He was the son of the late Ida Faye Cottongim.

David was a self-employed house cleaner.  He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed camping.  He dearly loved his family and adored his nieces and nephews.  He is survived by his husband, Terry Maxwell, of Crittenden and a sister, Rhonda Fugate, of Park Hills.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial following in the Williamstown Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 4:00-10:00 PM at the Little Britton Carriage House in Burlington.
