David L. Gatewood of Independence, Kentucky

November 4, 1947 - October 31, 2020

David L. Gatewood, an Independence, KY resident, passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 72.

David was a welder most of his life and a U.S. Navy veteran. He is a member of the 1st Church of Christ in Burlington, KY.

On November 4, 1947, David was born to the late Calvin Gatewood and Betty Utter.  He is survived by one son, David (Lisa) Gatewood of Dry Ridge, KY, one daughter, Belinda Gatewood of Hebron, KY, one half brother, Lowry (Pamela) Price of Crittenden, KY, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  David was preceded in death by two sisters, Joy Lucas and Pat Dierkes,

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home of Williamstown, KY is handling the arrangements.
