Debra Ann Erskine Baker

Debra Ann Erskine Baker, a Cynthiana resident passed away at her residence on Nov. 25, 2025 at the age of 66.

Debra was born to Essie Lee Sumner Erskine and the late Clarence William Erskine on Aug. 26, 1959 in Covington, KY.  She was a retired day care provider for Brighton Center and Baker Daycare.  She loved going to the casino, playing euchre and bingo, shopping, cleaning and spending time with her grandchildren.

Debra is survived by her mother, Essie Sumner Erskine, three daughters, Beth (Tim) Anderson, Dana Baker (Richard Edmondson), Donna (Dave) Anderson, two brothers, Gary (Tina) Erskine, Danny (Debbie) Erskine, two sisters, Vickie (Harold) Dougherty, Jeannie Erskine, sister in law, Vickie Erskine, she has two stepchildren Jerry jr. and Michelle.  former husband, Jerry Baker, eleven grandchildren ( Gavin, Katie, Karley, Jersey Andrea, destiny, Tapanga, Klei, Addison, Dj, Kirsten, and Jaylin) great grandson (Beckham) She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Erskine and one brother, Bobby Erskine, and granddaughter Jaylin. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025 from 10am-12noon at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth, KY.  Funeral services will be at 12 noon.  Pastor James Jenkins will be officiating services.  Burial will follow at the Corinth Cemetery, Corinth, KY.  Memorials contributions may be made to Vickie Dougherty, 10198 Chestnut Oak Dr., Independence, KY 41051.
