Debra "Debbie" House Gonzalez

Debra "Debbie" House Gonzalez, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 8, 2025, at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center. Born on October 22, 1955, in Anderson, Indiana, Debbie's life was a testament to love, warmth, and unwavering kindness.

Debbie was a lifelong member of the New Columbus Baptist Church, where she dedicated herself not only to her faith but also to the community that embraced her. Her vibrant spirit and friendly demeanor meant that she never met a stranger, forging connections with everyone she encountered.

Throughout her life, Debbie was a devoted mother to her four sons: Larry Evert (Susan) Offutt, Harry W. (Barbara) Offutt, Shannon (Linda) Offutt, and Jason Offutt. She took immense pride in her family, showering her children and their families with love and support. She is also survived by her brother, Clinton (Debbie) House, and three sisters, Sharon Tapia, Sheila Bruin, and Becky Barnes. Debbie's legacy will continue through her remarkable descendents, which include seventeen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, J.B. House and Vivian Glass House, as well as her cherished daughter, Tabitha Bell Brumley. Though her absence will be deeply felt, the impact of her life will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her.

Visitation will be held at New Columbus Baptist Church in Corinth, Kentucky, on May 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The address for the church is 16185 New Columbus Road, Corinth, KY 41010.  Pastor Brad Vincent will be officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stamping Ground Masonic Cemetery.

Debbie's legacy of love and compassion will live on through her family and all who were touched by her kindness. She truly made the world a brighter place, and she will be missed beyond measure.
