Dennis Ray Wolfe

Dennis Ray Wolfe was born July 18, 1951 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away October 22, 2026 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 75.  He was the son of the late Elbert Kenneth and Lillie May Wolfe.

Dennis was a graduate of Holmes High School and then went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University followed by his MBA at Xavier University.  He retired in 2016 after 40+ years with Federated Department Stores which later became Macy's.  

While Dennis was known to be a dedicated and hard worker he also enjoyed many hobbies in his free time.  He was an active member of Immanuel Church in Lakeside Park and spent 25 years as a 9th Region Basketball Official.  For many years he enjoyed playing softball, participating in bowling leagues and he was an avid golfer.  In addition to his involvement in many sports throughout his life, he also enjoyed the simpler things like cutting the grass and pressure washing.

On Sept. 27, 1980 Dennis was united in marriage to the love of his life, Susan Lynn Sloan Wolfe.  In addition to his wife of 46 years his is survived by his son: Daniel Wolfe; a granddaughter: Danica Wolfe; nephews: Daryl Cox (Barbie) and Steve Sloan (Kelly); nieces: Denise Lubbe and Amy Bass (Jaime); Several great nieces and nephews; and many special and loving friends.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Cox.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Immanuel Church, 2551 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park, KY  41017.  Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Immanuel Church.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Immanuel Church, 2551 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park, KY  41017.
