Diane Lynn “Linda” Brown, 67, of Corinth, KY, passed away on Friday November 14, 2025 at her residence. Born on July 11, 1958 in Wilmington, Delaware; she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lavern Burgess, Jr. and Edna Jean Reed Burgess
On July 21, 1977 she was united in marriage to Gregory Lynn Brown; he survives. Linda worked for Vascor Transport, LTD in Georgetown as an auto inspector. Her vibrant personality caused her to be endeared by everyone that knew her. She earned the title of “Mom Brown” through her many years of coaching girls softball. Because of her love for music, she and her husband enjoyed attending music festivals across the state. Her enjoyment in life was never more fulfilling than when she would take her grandchildren fishing. Spending time with her “Aunt Nancy” Stone and developing a special friendship with her “Uncle Kenneth” Reed were always special moments for her. Linda was of the Christian faith and was a graduate of Bryan Station High School in Lexington.
Linda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gregory Brown; one son: Anthony Sean (Shannon Webster) Brown of Williamstown; one daughter: Shannon K. Brown of Corinth; one brother; Danny Burgess of Lexington, along with six grandchildren: Kristian Robinson, William Colton Cruey, Kaden Brown, Peyton Brown, Leilah Webster, Logan Campbell and two great-grandchildren: Wayne Robinson and Jensen Robinson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
