Edith Marie Jameison Wright

Edith Marie Jameison Wright , 89, of Corinth, KY, died Saturday June 20, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Ft. Thomas. Born May 9, 1931 in Marion County, IN; she was the daughter of the late Leonard  and Katy Webster Jameison Petty.

On September 4, 1948 Edith was united in marriage to Marvin Thomas Wright; he preceded her in death on Saturday April 23, 1979. She was a homemaker, farmer and gardener. She loved dogs and cats, along with bird watching, especially cardinals, but spending time with her family was her greatest enjoyment. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

She leaves to carry on her legacy, two daughters: Bonnie Wright Dyer (Afton) of Corinth, KY, Kathy Wright Gullion (Tom) of Corinth, KY; one son: Marty Wright (Janice)of Owenton, KY and one brother: Edward Grover Petty (Betty) of Green Castle, IN; three granddaughters: Christa Dyer-Wilson, Marla Dyer-Morris (Michael), Lyndsay Dalton; two grandsons: Tommy Gullion (Stephanie) and Jesse Wright (Jan). Seven great-grandchildren also survive: Bryce Gullion, Thomas & Ryan Gullion, Lybra & Chloee Dalton, Ellee Morris and Marleigh Wilson. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Tammy Wright Perkins and a grandson: Michael Gullion.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 24, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown location. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. James Sears officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesville Cemetery.
