Mrs. Louella Faye Harris Dungan, a Florence resident, formerly of Williamstown, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the age of 94.
Faye was born in Brock, KY on October 14, 1931 to the late Sam Harris and Lillie Mae Elam Harris. She graduated Williamstown High School in 1950. She married Timothy Lincoln Dungan on January 19, 1952. Tim passed away on March 23, 1991. Faye was a former cook for the Northern KY Treatment Center and the I-75 Restaurant. Prior to this, she was a telephone operator for the Cincinnati Bell in Williamstown. Faye loved people and loved to help out anywhere she could. She was a hospice volunteer for St. Elizabeth since 1993 and was named Volunteer of the Year in 1997 by the Grant County Chamber of Commerce. Faye was a lifelong member of the St. William Catholic Church.
She leaves behind two daughters, Sandra (Kurt Schultz), Trish (Late, Frank) Merritt; three sons, Timothy (Carole) Dungan, David Dungan, Tim (Diane) Dungan; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Faye was the last of eleven siblings.
A Memorial Mass Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Saint William Church, 6 Church Street, Williamstown, KY 41097.
