Franklin “Davis” Cook, 69, of Williamstown, KY, entered into the presence of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center - Florence. Born on March 4, 1957, in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Orville Fred and Deloris Mae Applegate Cook.
Davis was a “natural born” talent with an innate ability to play drums and guitar. He will long be remembered for his infectious love for the Lord and his heartbeat for serving the Lord and witnessing to people through his personal convictions. Much fulfillment came to him through visiting various churches and sharing his talent for the advancement of the Kingdom.
He is survived by his brother, Terry Cooke of Rabbit Hash, KY; two sisters: Martha Greive of Harrodsburg, KY, Rena Anderson of Crittenden, KY and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Cook.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown) from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the New Columbus Cemetery in Corinth.
