Glenna Rae McComas

Glenna Rae McComas, 80, of Williamstown, KY, passed away on Tuesday July 29, 2025. Born on May 27, 1945, in Fayette County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Homer Bedford and Madlin McIntosh Taylor.

On January 19, 1990, Glenna was united in marriage to Charles McComas; he preceded her in death. She took pride in being a Domestic Engineer; she was an avid UK and Reds fan, with Davey Concepcion being her favorite Reds' player. Needlework and crocheting were among her favorite pastimes but, first and foremost her greatest fulfillment came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves to reflect upon her life and legacy, two sons: Rick (Kristy) Bosse of Dry Ridge, Rob (Brandy) Bosse of Dry Ridge; two step-sons: Gerry (Keta) McComas and Ernie (Eva) McComas; two daughters: Sheila (Paul) Nowak of Dry Ridge, Penny Crase of Dry Ridge; two step-daughters: Barb McComas and Janette Cain, along with six adorable grandchildren: Bailey Grase (Buckwheat) Kinman, Kate (Devon) Kidwell- Blissett, Josie Bosse, Dylan Bosse, Ben Bosse, Madlin Bosse and two precious great-grandchildren: Harrison Kinman and Hunter Blissett.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Tyler Dale Bosse; a brother: Riley M. Taylor and two step-sons: Dale McComas and Tim McComas. Last but not least, was a special cockatiel, affectionately known as "Bad Bird", who was a part of Glenna's life. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
