Green Berry Morris, Jr.

Mr. Green Berry "J.B." Morris, a Covington resident, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the age of 71.  He was the life partner of Shirley Morris of Covington, KY.

Mr. Morris was a former security guard for Pinkertons, former security for Florence Mall and was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for the State Hwy department in Williamstown, KY.  He was an ordained minister and in past years was a volunteer with the Williamstown Fire Department.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing gospel hymns and he loved to play the guitar.

Mr. Morris is survived by two daughters, Alanna Jean Morris of Houston, TX, Jennifer Smith of Dry Ridge, KY, two brothers, Richard E. (Shirley) Morris of Marion, IN, Alvin L. "Barney" Morris of Dry Ridge, KY, one sister Marilyn (John) Sharon of Carrollton, KY, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by sister in law Cynthia "Cindy" Morris.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Florence Ard and Green Morris, Sr., his brother Walley Morris and his sister Judy Johnson.

Visitation will be Monday, February 17, 2020 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral will be at 1pm.  Rev. Howard Chipman will be officiating services. Memorials are suggested to Stanley Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 130, Williamstown, KY 41097.
