Gregory Allen Link

Gregory Allen Link, 53, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday August 9, 2025 at his residence. Born on April 19, 1972, in Edgewood, KY, he was the son of the late Robert Allen and Christine Lilly Link.

Greg was a 1991 graduate of Grant County High School. Before becoming disabled he enjoyed landscaping with Danny York and Stacey Gray. Previously, he worked at Grant Co. Foods, Classic Car Wash, I-75 Rest Area in Florence and Sabatasso’s Pizza. Wresting, watching U.K. and the Bengals brought him much delight but spending time with his family brought him his greatest fulfillment.  

He leaves to mourn his passing, his Aunts: Linda Claypool, Glenna Simpson, Gloria Middleton and Kay Frost; Uncle Jerry Northcutt; cousins:  Chris Simpson, Kim Albers, Penny Balush, Todd Link, Pam Link Jump, Greg Link, Tim Link, Donna Cummins, Debbie Jo Wright, David Michael Lyons, Sandra Beach, Sharon Link, Scott Frost, Jenna Janes, Dennis "Mickey" Price, Lisa (Keith) Miller, Joanna (Dennie) Davis, Tricia (Tom) Farris, Beth Hoss, Betty (Doug) Hunt, Crystal (Ricky) Brewer, Maria (Mike) Wagers, Larry (Sandra) Lilly, Paula Edmondson, Nancy Lilly, Jeremy (Laura) Lilly, Thomas (Candance) Lilly, Raymond (Dana) Fowee, Betty "Gerri" Evans, Juanita “Nita” Moore, Rebecca “Becky” Lilly, George Lilly, Mark (Janelle) Lilly, Sandy Taylor, Timmy Kannady, Brian Claypool, and Jenna Claypool.  He was proceeded in death by his cousins:  Aulton Goins II, Danny Joe Kannady, Gerald Kannady and Johnnie Evans; his uncles: Paul Simpson, George Frost, Buck Lilly, Ray (Dorothy) Lilly and aunts; Kathy Goins, Jenny Northcutt, Bernice (Edsel) Kannady and Juanita Lilly;

Visitation will be Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown from 11 AM to 1 PM. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery. Everyone is asked to wear their best UK gear or UK blue to honor Greg’s Love for his Kentucky Wildcats!

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to Stanley Funeral Homes for the funeral expenses.
