Harold Donovan

Mr. Harold Donovan, a Monticello, KY resident and formerly of Verona, passed away in Burnside, KY on Monday, March 22, 2021.  He was the widower of the late Athena "Pat" Donovan.

Harold was a Vietnam veteran and a former employee of Equitable bag in Florence, KY.  He loved fishing, boating, camping, traveling and riding motorcycles.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 277 in Walton, KY for 49 yrs and a member of the Am Vets Post KY0125.

Harold is survived by his girlfriend, Charline Dearduff of Burnside, KY, one daughter, Marsha Donovan of Walton, KY, two sisters Linda Sebastian of Florence, KY, Sue Estep of Florence, KY, two grandchildren, Crystal Sims of Latonia, KY, Jeremy Sims of Jacksonville, FL. In addition to his former wives Pat and Jeanine, Harold was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Whalen and three sisters, Joyce Williams, Geraldine Monks and Shirley Holderby.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 11am-1pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral services will be at 1pm.  Burial will follow at the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
