Helene Goble Lawhun

Helene Goble Lawhun of Falmouth, KY was born March 29, 1947, in Floyd County, KY and died Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at her residence at the age of 78 years.

She was the daughter of the late Becham and Mindy Moore Goble. She was a retired Decontamination Technician for Fisher Titus Memorial Center in Norwalk, OH and a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church. On November 25, 1964, she was united in marriage to her husband, Lawrence Lee Lawhun. Helene loved to read, enjoyed caked decorating, participating with the meal committee at church, and spending time babysitting her grand and great-grandchildren.

Survived by her husband of 60+ years, Lawrence Lee Lawhun of Falmouth; son, Nelson Wayne Lawhun of Falmouth; daughter, Christalyn Kaple of Medina, OH; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Doug Goble of Alabama.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
