Herbert Thomas “Tom” Beach passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, family, and friendship. Throughout his life, Tom embraced every opportunity to learn, serve, and encourage others, touching countless lives along the way.

Tom graduated from Holmes High School in 1959, where he distinguished himself as both class president and Salutatorian. Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force, and it was while stationed in Hawaii that he met wife Nina.  Their marriage of 60 years was built on devotion, partnership, and countless cherished memories.

While serving in the military he continued his education ultimately graduating from Thomas More College in 1971. A man of deep faith, Tom served as a deacon at Vine Run Baptist Church and Williamstown Baptist Church and later held the honored title of Deacon Emeritus.

Tom spent his professional career as an accountant, working for Ladish, Trinity, Clow, and Purestream. Following retirement, he found a new calling as an elementary school classroom aide.

Tom was known for his dedication to staying active, having been an avid softball player well into his 60’s. At one point, his tennis shoes had accumulated more miles than his car tires. In his later years he enjoyed participating in SilverSneakers, where he treasured the camaraderie, laughter, and friendships he found there.

Tom loved supporting his family and friends in their activities never missing a ballgame or dance recital. He was an enthusiastic volleyball fan, even traveling to Hawaii to support his team. He approached life with energy, and gratitude, making the most of every day.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Beach and Dorothy Ashcraft Beach, sister -in-law Wanda Beach and by his beloved wife, Nina.

He is survived by his son, David Beach, and daughter-in-law, Kristen, his cherished granddaughter, Eliza, his brother, Jerry Beach; his nephew, Steve Beach and wife Linda; and his niece, Nancy Beach.

In his final year, Tom found great joy and companionship with his significant other, Sue Blaine. Together they embraced life to its fullest. Sue remained faithfully by his side until the end.
