James Ray Atwood of Ludlow, KY was born October 30, 1946, in Newport, KY and died Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in Cincinnati, OH at the age of 78 years.
He was the son of the late Porter and Mary McDyer Atwood. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. James was united in marriage to his wife, Barbara Arrowood Atwood on July 13, 2002.
Surviving is his wife, Barbara; 3 sons, Dwayne Atwood, Bradley Atwoood, and Timothy Atwood; 2 stepsons, Michael Caudill and Jeffrey Caudill; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren 1 brother Kenneth Atwood; and 2 sisters, Rosemary Broughton and Bonnie Parrish.
Graveside services will be at 11:00am Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.
