James Leslie Carlisle

James Leslie Carlisle was born December 20, 1972 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on August 19, 2026.  He was the son of Leslie Lee and Cardenis "Carrie" Coleman Carlisle, both survive.

James was a maintenance planner for Ineos in Cincinnati, Ohio.  In his free time he enjoyed fishing and loved showing cars.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and could often be found listening to Kenny Chesney.  While he was known to be a hard worker and enjoyed his hobbies, James greatest enjoyment came from spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, Les and Carrie, he is survived by his son, James Leslie Carlisle, II of Cynthiana; his sister, Susan Leslie Bentley (Adam), of Dry Ridge; his granddaughter, Kaylee Carlisle; his girlfriend, Jennifer Brown, of Brooksville, OH; a niece, Samantha Leslie Ambrose, of Walton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, August 24, 2026 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
