Janet Sue Perry was born December 5, 1951 in Owsley County, Kentucky and passed away April 17, 2026 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Wilson Smith and Maggie Mayes Brackin.
Janet retired as a devoted minister with Labor of Love Ministries in Williamstown. She was known as a deeply Godly woman who placed her faith above all else. She let it guide her every decision and served others and her community through her compassion and humility. She enjoyed many hobbies such as reading, sewing, crocheting and cooking. She also loved spending time with her family, which was second only to her faith.
On May 21, 1978, Janet was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Wayne Perry. In addition to her husband of almost 48 years, she is survived by four sons: Dr. Robert Wayne Perry (Gwynne) of Lebanon, OH, Michael Dayne Perry of Florida, Jeffrey Lawrence Schraer (Jocelyn) of Oakley, OH and Christopher Allen Perry (Tricia) of Dry Ridge; three daughters: Tammy Lynn Griffin (Stacey) of Dry Ridge, Susan Dawn Fugazzi (James) of Williamstown and Amanda Sarah Anglin (Jeremiah) of Lebanon, OH; a brother: Donald Smith; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren with one more on the way; and many others Janet welcomed into her family and home throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by six siblings, Russell, Stella, Naomi, Wanda, Gladys and Patty.
Celebration of Life will be held June 12, 2026 at 6:00 PM at My Old Kentucky Barn, 314 S. Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097.
