Jeffrey "Jeffro" Wayne Coldiron, a Covington resident, passed away at his residence on Aug. 5, 2026 at the age of 54 yrs old. He was the widower of the late Ruby Denny-Coldiron.
Jeff was a former laborer for Jim's Water and Sanitation Service of Independence, KY. He had a passion for the outdoors, where he loved to bowhunt and fish. In his free time he loved to watch Nascar and dirt track racing. He loved UK Basketball and Dallas Cowboys. His family describes him as a fun loving man who loved to sing and dance and make people laugh.
Jeff is survived by two sisters, Brenda Joyce Coldiron Mangold (Jamie) of Independence, KY, Bonnie M. Spaulding; one brother, James Dejarnet (Amy); three nephews, Brian Arns, Evan (Torie) Mangold, Casey (Kelsea) Mangold. In addition to his wife Ruby, he was preceded in death by his parents, James Coldiron and Lois Mains Coldironone, and one sister, Karen Dejarnet-Turner.
Visitation will be Monday, August 10, 2026 from 4-6pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral services will follow at 6pm. Rev. David "Milkweed" Wotier will be officiating.
