He was the son of the late James Samuel and Lucille Lee Hearn, a lifelong farmer, and a maintenance worker for Turfway Park.
Surviving is 1 son Jason Hearn of Bedford, KY; 1 daughter, Darlene Hearn of Bedford, KY; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 4 brothers, James Hearn, Jr. of Owenton, Bennie Hearn of Florence, Charles Hearn of Dry Ridge, and Eddie Hearn of Jonesville.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
