Mr. John Charles "Jay" Adams of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Thursday, September 17 at his residence at the age of 93. Mr. Adams was born October 23, 1926 in Knoxville, Pendleton County, KY. to the late Henry Elwood Adams and Stella Feba Daniels Adams. Mr. Adams was a lifetime farmer and had retired from Kirk and Blum Co. in Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Adams was a member of the Knoxville Christian Church and had proudly served his country in World War II in the United States Army. Mr. Adams was a member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed farm life and taking care of the farm animals.
In addition to his parents Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his brothers: little James, Vernon, and Donald. Preceded in death by his sisters: Libby, Edna, Dorothy, and Lora.
Mr. Adams is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial for Mr. Adams will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, September 20 at the Broadridge Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. with Rev. Ronnie Angell officiating. Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the Broadridge Cemetery, 10100 Highway 467, Dry Ridge, KY. 41035.
