Judy Karen Billiter

Judy Karen Billiter, 73, Owenton, KY, passed away Tuesday January 27, 2026 at Owenton Center. Born in Huntington, WV, on July 31, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James and Thelma Artrip Sawyers.

Judy worked for many years in Food Service with the Grant County Board of Education. Her favorite pastimes included shopping, visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, and walking on the beach, but her greatest fulfillment came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Judy will be fondly remembered by her daughter: Sheila Kay (Ben) Miller of Jonesville, KY; two sons: David Michael (Tonya) Simpson of Gillett, Arkansas, Allen (Emily) Billiter, Jr. of Independence, KY; two brothers: Randy (Shirley) Sawyers of Florence, KY, Timothy (Holly) Sawyers of Burlington, KY, along with seven grandchildren: Devin (Shelby) Smith, Brett (Lindsay) Smith, Logan Simpson, Chase Simpson, Jacob Billiter, Joshua Billiter, and Cally (Nick) Miller and one great-grandchild, Xander Smith and one on the way. Also surviving is her significant other, Allen Billiter of Dry Ridge.

Visitation will be Saturday February 7, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will follow at 1:00.
