Judy Beach Hager, a cherished soul who graced this world with her vibrant spirit, was born on August 3, 1951, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She brought joy and warmth to all those fortunate enough to cross her path. After a long illness, she slipped peacefully from this earthly realm on August 24, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.
A Crittenden resident and a graduate of Boone County High School, Judy embarked on a commendable career that encompassed both dedication and expertise. Retiring as a title specialist for Copart in Walton, Kentucky, she previously devoted over a decade to the role of accounts payable/receivable clerk for Capital Marketing Insurance in Florence, Kentucky. Her career was a testament to her strong work ethic and integrity.
Judy was a fun-loving woman, her personality marked by an outgoing nature that drew others to her. Described by family as the “glue that kept them together,” her fierce love and unwavering support were the bedrock of family life. She was a magnificent cook, celebrated for her traditional recipes, particularly her cornbread dressing, candied yams, spaghetti and meatballs, and her beloved pierogi Polish dish. Each meal prepared with utmost care was a gathering point filled with laughter and fond memories.
Beyond the kitchen, Judy's passions flourished in diverse gardens adorned with blossoms and vegetables she nurtured with unparalleled affection. An enthusiast of dance and lover of music, she delighted in the great outdoors, often found manicuring her lawn or basking in the joys of travel during her younger years. As her family grew, she found immense joy in attending her grandchildren's sporting events, cheering them on with unwavering support. A devoted animal lover, her affinity for cats and dogs reflected her nurturing nature.
She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Hager; her devoted son, Clay Hager and his wife, Stephani; her cherished daughter, Teresa Burtschy and her husband, Michael; and four beloved grandchildren along with one great-grandchild. Judy's bond with her siblings was profound; she was the youngest of seven. She is remembered fondly by her four brothers, Donald Beach, Herbert Beach, Larry Beach, Darl Beach and his wife, Stephanie, as well as her two sisters, Shirley Blanton and her husband, Charles, and Jo Ann Luster and her husband, Jerry.
In the pages of her life, Judy also carries the solemn remembrance of her parents, the late Herbert “Tag” Beach and Rose Marie Cimino Beach, who instilled in her the values of love and resilience.
