Julia Geraldine Delk

Julia Geraldine Delk of Dry Ridge, KY was born January 19, 1930 in Kenton County, KY and died Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in Florence, KY at the age of 95 years.

Julia was the daughter of the late Raymond John and Catherine Hughes Sheffel. She was a retired food server in the restaurant industry and on March 6, 1948 she was united in marriage to her husband Philip Arnold Delk who preceded her in death on Dec 23, 2022. During her life she enjoyed fishing, she and her husband both enjoyed their time working for the horse tracks at River Downs and the Fairgrounds in New Orleans, as well as spending time traveling the country in their RV.

In addition to her husband and parents, Julia was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Marie Schwartz and her siblings, Raymond Sheffel II, Jessie Sheffel, Marion Sheffel, Leon Sheffel, and Dorthy Sheffel. .

Surviving is her daughter, Patty Jones of Macclenny, FL; six grandchildren, Justin (Amie) Stephens of Dry Ridge, Jennifer (David) Krawiec of Erlanger, Brian (Amanda) Schwartz of Williamstown, Dawn (Matt) Grissom of Green Sea, SC, Heather Allen (Brian) Clark of Macclenny, FL and Richard Allen of Macclenny, FL; and many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2:00pm Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY with visitation from 1:00-2:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
