June Carol Jones

June Carol Jones, 78, of Walton, Kentucky, passed away on May 8, 2026, embraced by love and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Born on May 15, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, June was the beloved daughter of Benjamin Poteet and Joyce Mains. Throughout her life, she was known to all who met her as endlessly helpful, giving, and deeply caring. These qualities shone brightly in her work as a nurse, her faithful service at church, and most of all in her devotion to her family. 

June had a servant's heart and a gentle spirit, always ready to offer comfort, encouragement, or a helping hand. While she touched many lives through her career and community, nothing brought her more joy than being a grandmother. She delighted in loving and spoiling her fourteen grandchildren, creating memories they will treasure forever. 

June is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Robert Jones; her children, Scott Jones, Rebecca Bresser, Stephen Jones, and Bethany Jones; and her much-loved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

June's legacy is one of kindness, faith, and unconditional love. She will be remembered not only for what she did, but for how she made people feel--seen, cared for, and valued. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of June from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m on Saturday, June 6 at Triple Crown Country Club, 10644 Triple Crown Blvd., Union, KY 41091. Guests are welcome to attend at any time during those hours.
