Junior Kinman, 98, of Williamstown, KY, entered his heavenly home on Sunday August 10, 2025 at his residence. Born on August 27, 1926 in Stewartsville, KY, he was the son of the late Rathburn and Minnie Mershon Kinman.
On August 21, 1971, Junior was united in marriage to Jeanie Brown; she survives. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy. Farming was his lifelong passion; he also worked at Square D in Florence; upon retirement he later worked for and retired from Dry Ridge Elementary. Junior will long be remembered as a horse enthusiast; he had an ardent love for raising and showing horses. He was a former member of the Kentucky Draft Horses Association and a current member of Dry Ridge Baptist Church.
He leaves to celebrate his legacy, his wife of 54 years, Jeanie Kinman; two sons: Steve (Marlene) Kinman of Dry Ridge, KY, Barry (Elaine) Kinman of Crittenden, KY; two daughters: Lana (Gary) Spegal of Piner, KY, Anita (Jason) Jones of Corinth, KY; two step-daughters: Kathy Gregory of Pleasureville, KY and Mary Ann (Jimmy) Evans of Boyd, KY. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are two brothers: James Kinman, Louis Kinman and two sisters: Mildred Dunn and Jo Taylor.
Friends and family may gather at Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown) on Thursday August 14, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Willie Ailstock officiating; special music will be brought by Billy Joe Taylor.
Interment will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery in Berry, KY.
